Chapter 1301
Chapter 1301 Feast My Eyes On His Beauty
Ashlyn seldom fell ill or caught a cold.
She was in good shape, other than being frequently aroused, possibly because of the Spirogyra in her body.
Her constitution had, in fact, improved tremendously, especially after she got poisoned by the Spirogyra a few years ago.
She was thus surprised that she caught a cold so suddenly.
“Why are you spacing out over there?”
Lucas walked out of the bathroom and stared at her curiously.
“Turning around, Ashlyn saw him in a black bathrobe that was loosely tied, revealing his solid chest. She raised an eyebrow. He's letting me feast my eyes on his beauty so early in the morning?
“
“I think I'm a little unwell.”
“Shall we go get some medicine later?” Lucas approached her and gently touched her forehead. “You don't seem to have a fever.”
“I must've caught a cold in the village yesterday.” Ashlyn sighed. “I'll freshen up first. We'll head to the hospital after that.”
After washing up, she went to the dining table and spotted a box of cold medicine on it.
She sat down at the dining table, slightly taken aback. Before long, Lucas' deep voice sounded. “I got the medicine delivered. Brew a bag of it later.”
Ashlyn nodded. She felt a warm feeling in her heart.
In fact, she did not see the need to take medicine for a cold, given her body condition.
Spencer walked over with a plate of egg benedict in his hands. “The dining hall's breakfast is quite nice today. There's bacon in this dish.”
Lucas curled his lips upward as he served Ashlyn an egg benedict. “Give it a try.”
Ashlyn glanced at him. He was dressed in a shirt and trousers, his long legs crossed with the left over the right, and in his hand was a cup.
His shirt was neatly buttoned, even the topmost one. It felt like his male pheromones were overflowing from his appearance.
His features, bathed in the morning sunlight, were strikingly handsome and ethereal. His actions were so graceful and refined that every move exuded an air of forbidden allure and seduction.
Ashlyn withdrew her gaze. She felt her heartbeat suddenly missing half a beat.
After breakfast, the three of them set off for the hospital. On their way, they prepared a few gifts and fresh flowers.
...
In the general ward at the hospital, Joseph was sitting on a chair, peeling an apple for James.
Fae and Charlotte walked in together with a lunchbox in their hands. “The hospital meals aren't too bad. It's a big hospital, after all.”
Charlotte placed the bun she was holding on the table. Her hair was in a high ponytail, making her look extra bright and adorable today.
She wore a yellow dress with a white coat over it.
She was around a hundred and sixty-three centimeters tall, and though she was not particularly tall, her proportions were just right.
Sporting a pair of Dr. Martens on her feet, her overall look was youthful and cute. Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Perhaps because she was too busy recently, her cheeks were not as chubby as before. Her facial features were pleasing and comfortable to the eye, making one unwilling to look away.
She barely had any makeup on, just a light touch of lipstick. Her face boasted a healthy collagen-rich appearance, and it was simply breathtaking.
Joseph cut the apple into slices after peeling it. “Lottie, do you want some fruits?”
Charlotte shook her head. “I just had a bit of breakfast at the dining hall. We brought this for Dad and you.”
Fae held Charlotte's hand. “This child has lost weight since she's here in Jadeborough. And she still eats very little.” As she spoke, she shifted her gaze toward James. “Did Mr. President say where we'll be staying at?”
James checked his phone and saw the address Alistair sent him. “Where else? We'll definitely still live in the large courtyard and not too far away from the hospital.”
They would still have to complete the check-in procedures after moving over, but that would have to wait till James was discharged.
“That's great.” Fae heaved a sigh. “Once we're back home and settled in, I'll definitely keep your health in check and feed you well. You're way too thin right now.”
“Thank you, Mom.” Charlotte felt somewhat touched. She opened her mouth, hesitated briefly, and added, “The Piano Association sent me a WhatsApp, notifying me to attend a meeting at ten. Mom, Dad, I shall take my leave first.”
