Triplets for the Billionaire novel (Oliver Gusto)

Chapter 45

Chapter 45

"It's okay if you're busy, I can just call later.”

Kathie chuckled, "Let me guess, Sophie is giving you a hard time.”

"Yeah, She wants to speak with her mama. The boys are cool though. They are watching their favorite cartoon.”

"I doubt if she will ever outgrow being really attached to me."

"She won't. That's why she's your twin. Let me give the phone to her before she starts crying. Her eyes are heavy with tears already." "Hi, Mommy." Katherine's smile got bigger when her baby's voice came through.

Before she could reply, the little girl's voice came through again. "I miss you, mommy."

"I miss you too, baby. Did you sleep well?"

"Yes, and I had a dream too."

Kathie sighed internally, not really glad that her baby dreamt. She was the kind of mother that gave her kids a listening ear but Sophie's dream lately had been giving her fake panic attacks.

"What was it about?"

"That we went on a vacation. You, me, Sammy, Sebastian, and a man."

"Aman?!"

"Yes, mommy. He's very handsome and I called him Daddy."

"Is it Lewis you saw?"

"No, it's not Lewis. Lewis didn't come with us to the vacation. The very handsome man carried me on his back while we went to Disneyland." "Uh.. okay..."

"Yes, and you both kissed.” Katherine heard her daughter giggling.

“Ewwwww!" Katherine had no idea when she said that loud.

"Don't say that mommy. It wasn't ewww. It was sweet. He asked you to marry him, you said yes, all the crowd in Disneyland cheered, you kissed and it was sweet."

"A marriage proposal in Disneyland? How sweet!" Kathie rolled her eyes where she was. "Yes, everyone was happy."

Before Kathie could say anything, her daughter chipped in.

"When are you going to take us to Daddy?"

“Honey, mama has to go help Grandma with something. We will talk in the evening, okay?” "Okay, mommy. Greet Grandma for me. I love you."NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

"I love you too, baby."

"The pressure is getting worse. Don't you think so?"

"Not again, Michie.” Kathie groaned.

"I think it's the bond that’s causing these dreams. He's closer than ever and she can feel it." “You're not helping.”

"Just saying.”

"I'll talk to you guys later. We are almost at the registry."

"Okay boo. Enjoy the holy matrimony.”

“Indeed.” She mumbled, ending the call.

In three minutes, they got to the registry. The groom and other invited guests were there already. It took a while before they were attended to, the ceremony was done after which pictures were taken.

The reception party was slated for 4pm. After spending forever taking pictures with Kathie bending for the 100th time to adjust the brides' dress, getting the right pose for different pictures. they left the registry. By the time they got home, they had roughly two hours left until the reception.

Some guests were with them already. They were in the living room, making conversations, whining, and dining. "What's on your mind?" Magda approached Kathie who was seated by the bar area.

"Nothing. I'm fine.”

"We both know you aren't. You look worried.”

"I just can't wait for today to be over."

"You sure? Or you're cranky because you've not seen him today. I saw you dash into your room immediately after we came back. You think he must have gone there?"

Katherine shrugged. “I can't be too careful." “You shouldn't fill your mind with fear. Whatever will be will be.”

"I had to grow up really fast at a young age, tried to keep my family, and take care of my kids. I can't let anyone take my peace away from me. Not Him or anyone else."

"No one's going to take your peace away from yeu. That's why you have to be in cantrol. Just train your mind to accept that he is now in the a pictureand ifhehasa good <> inteqtion about it all, you need to give- space for him to perform his dGties as his father."

"What the hell has he been doing in the room all day?"

Magda's lips curved into a small smile. "Silly girl, I know you miss him.”

"No, I don’t. He’s just torturing me and I don't like it. Any reaction is better than silence.”

"Food was taken to him earlier and I'm sure he spoke to your mom. I wouldn't be so stressed if I were you."

"Not everyone likes a registry party. He will show up at the reception. Hopefully."

"And I hope he goes back to Australia after that.”

"Yeah, hopefully."

"Is there anything you're not telling me? Did you by any chance see him today?" She asked with creased brows."

"No. I just want you to be realistic. The only way he would go back to his country tonight or tomorrow is if he's not accepting responsibility but if he is, then you should be prepared for it.”

"I hope he's not interested because I have nothing to prepare for."

"I should go call the bride to order before she forgets herself. She needs to start getting ready for the reception.” Katherine said to Magda before excusing herself.

For someone who was kicked out of the initial hall rented for the wedding, using her hora’ backyard for the reception didn't seem to be a bad . idea at all The decorators did a very beautiful job that even the brida> cou chard y recognize her backyard and the weather was So faverable, raaking everything seem perfect. Everyone was having fury where they were seated, the servers were going around with food and drinks while soft music played in the background.

In the midst of Katherine being busy, the moment she sighted Oliver, She instantly felt uneasy. She would have honestly preferred him coming to the registry and ditching this one.

"Hi, beautiful." She felt an arm slide around her waist. Katherine smiled, recognizing the voice and the touch. She turned around to look at the love of her life.

"I knew no one could compete with you here tonight. You're the prettiest." Lewis said, stealing a kiss from her. She was putting on a red dress that showed her curves and a bit of her cleavage.

She returned his kiss. "Don't let Beatrice hear you."

"I don't care. My woman deserves all the compliments. Besides, I’m not being partial. I'm sure she will agree with me too." Katherine chuckled. "You're still trying to be on her goad side, remember?

Lewis shrugged.

“You look good too. But you're late.”

He frowned with a small smile playing on his lips. "The last time I remember, you were the one who told me to take my time and not to come here early.”

"Oh, I said that?" She pouted,

"Yes, you did.”

"I hope you brought a gift for mom."

"As someone who is still trying to be on her good side, I bought one of the most expensive gifts in the store. I already put it in the gift corner.” "She will definitely like you more after tonight." She smirked

"Why don't you go sit over there!" Kathie pointed to the special table she reserved for the both of them. "I'll get us food and drinks."

"Sure." The duo shared a quick kiss before Lewis made his way over to the table She pointed to earlier on.

On her way toget Her and Lewis’ favorite, Kathérine stopped by to greet one ofthe guests whom she ._ recognized as her mom's childhood friend While they were engaging.in a shortteonversation, her eyes met with Oli iver who rose to his feet from where he was seated and:was walking towards Lewis.

Katherine's heart started beating faster as She replayed Oliver's words from last night about ruining her.
