Chapter 317 Uninvited Guest
"Frey," Nathaniel said as he walked out and stood in front of her.
Frey, awkwardly positioned at her door, nodded in acknowledgment.
Nathaniel gestured towards her door and said, "I need to get my things back if that's alright?"
Frey nodded quickly and opened the door for him. Nathaniel entered, politely thanking her.
Since Koen hadn't come to pick up the items earlier, Nathaniel had to come himself. Frey had already packed his belongings in a box.
Nathaniel bent down to lift the box, dressed in a gray coral velvet housecoat, which made him look like a grizzly bear.
Frey found it challenging to interact with him. Despite his efforts to save her from various dangers, she couldn't forget the havoc he had wreaked on her life.
Even though he had saved her from a cold swimming pool and a scorching fire, Nathaniel had committed a grave wrong three years ago that he could never truly make amends for.
He felt awkward as he carried the box, moving slowly towards the door, occasionally glancing at Frey with an expression of reluctant sadness. Frey looked away, focusing on her handbag. Nathaniel finally gave up trying to engage further and prepared to leave.
"Lock the door properly. I'm heading back now," he said.
Frey, feeling indifferent, simply responded, "Okay."
As Nathaniel left with his belongings, Frey closed the door behind him. She changed her clothes and went to the kitchen to prepare a meal.
She noticed that Nathaniel had
previously purchased a lot of
ingredients. She packed them into a foam box, intending to use it for growing tomatoes or strawberries on the balcony.
After packing, she took out some noodles, cucumbers, and tofu to- prepare a simple meal. Just as she
was about to eat, some
persistently at the door.
Annoyed, Frey dropped her cutleroes and opened the door to find Nathaniel's tall figure standing outside, looking slightly embarrassed.
"Mr. Nathaniel," Frey said, trying to remain composed, "We were clear about the situation, weren't we?"
"Don't you remember what you did to me three years ago? You don't have the memory of a goldfish, don't you?"
She continued, "You've wronged me
and tricked me. I even had to

"I didn't," Nathaniel protested, his eyes slightly reddened, feeling unfairly accused.
Frey had never seen him like this and asked coldly, "What exactly are you trying to do? You're making things quite unpleasant."NôvelDrama.Org © content.
"Frey." Nathaniel, normally proud and dominant in Saeville, was now being lectured like a subordinate by Frey.
