Chapter 2 Meeting him
DIAZ POV
She jumped at the tone of my voice and started shivering, her chins trembled and fresh tears started forming at the corners of her eyes.
I gave her a deadly glare and without warning she took to a sprint.
I smirked, pulling my gun from my coat, I pointed it to her and spoke coldly.
“Another step from you and I will release the trigger.”
Hearing my threat, she stopped on her tracks and her body trembled greatly and I knew it was from fear.
She didn’t know I fed on fear.
Yeah, fear girl, fear.
I laughed and took a step towards her, she flinched but didn’t run away this time.
“Turn around”
I ordered but she didn’t move an inch.
Hot anger coursed through my vains as I stared at her back.
No one dared ignored me.
“I said turn around!”
I yelled and she flinched again but this time she turned around quickly and her head was down.
I stared at the girl in front of me and she sure looked unkept.
She was bare footed and her dirty blue gown was torn at the edges, her hair looked liked it hasn’t been touched for a long period of time and lastly I didn’t fail to notice the numerous bruises on her beautiful white but pale skin and I knew it’s was from beatings.
I looked at her face but couldn’t get a clear view of her as she was looking at the ground.
I wanted to see what she looked like.
I gasp over my thought.
What?
Why did I want to see her?
Burning in anger, my lips twitched as I watched her.
“Look up.”
I ordered but she still didn’t move an inch.
Seems she likes getting on my nerves, if she was one of my men, I would have shot her because of her disobedience but this time around I couldn’t bring myself to release the trigger.
“I won’t repeat my self again, look up.”
I said and tightened my grips on the gun waiting patiently for her to do as she was told.
She took longer than I expected but slowly she looked up at me.
My heart skipped a beat as I saw the most greenest eyes I have ever seen.
As she continued to raise her head I saw a tiny nose with a long face followed by bloodshot lips which had some dried blood on it.
Her face was glowing but obviously bruised.
Shaking my head, I furrowed my brow as I stared at her.
What the hell was she doing here?
She clearly didn’t look like a spy to me.
She didn’t belong to a place like this, not in a forest especially near my secret cottage.
She was hugging her arms tightly around herself and her body trembled greatly, she was all covered in dirts and bruises.
“What’s your name and what the hell are you doing here?”
I growled, my voice low but dangerous but still she didn’t utter any word.
I was getting pissed off already
I roughly grapped her chin and I could clearly see the silent tears which stream down her bruised cheeks.
Before I could get a hang on my self, my hands moved towards her face and wiped her tears with my thumb and slowly she tilted her face towards me.
I swallowed hard and frozed on my spot.
Something was definitely wrong with me.
I took some steps back and a wave of emotion ran through me.
First tenderness, then sadness and lastly anger.
I hanged on the anger and allowed it to consume me
There was no place for any other emotions in my life.
Emotions made you weak and I couldn’t be weak.
I had thousands and thousands of people behind me and ten thousand more to lead so I grabbed on the anger and let it flow through my vains.
Boiling from anger, I cracked my gun and pointed it at her as I glared hard at her.
Her eyes widened and her body began trembling again.
“I said what’s your name and what the hell are you doing here?”
I growled at her.

MADDY POV
I stared at the man standing a few metres in front of me, my body trembling with uncontrollable fear.
When he ordered me to look at him, I was beyond suprised.
He captured my breath away and for a second I forgot he was about shooting me, I stopped thinking I was supposed to run away.
All I could do was to stare at his enticing blueish ocean eyes.
His aura was one of a leader, a dangerous and powerful leader.
I should be screaming and running but something from him restrained me from doing so and for some strange reason, I felt warmth from his presence.
Even with his gun pointed at me, i felt oddly safe.
But in the next second his face suddenly turned hard again and then angry, i flinched in suprise as he took a step back.
“What is your name and what the hell are you doing here?”
He growled silently but his voice was very dangerous and dark, I knew that tone.
The same tone Damien used on me every night whenever he took me against my will.
I knew if I provoked him any further he was going to pull the trigger.
“Madison… my name is Madison”
I finally said in a rush.
“Madison, Maddie.”
He slowly repeated my name and I hated to admit it but I loved the way my name rolled out of his mouth, especially the way he pronounced the short form of it.Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
“Maddie”
He said it gently.
Get a hang over yourself Madison, he’s about to kill you.
I scolded myself.
“And what’s your last name”
He asked as his deep voice brought me back from my fantasy.
“You are being lucky I’m not releasing my trigger right now Madie, but believe me I won’t repeat my self.”
I slowly nodded and waited for him to continue.
“Let me introduced my self, I’m sure it will ring a bell, I’m Diaz Alberto.”
He slowly stated and I frozed in fear.
I stared at the man standing in front of me speechless as I felt my body becoming numb.
Oh God please it can’t be him, please it can’t.
“Does the name ring a bell?”
He asked in his usual cold manner.
Oh yes, it definitely rang a bell, a very dangerous bell.
Dread and horror filled me as I stared into his unmoving cold eyes.
Oh God I thought I ran away from a dangerous being but here I was, standing in front of the most dangerous of them all.
But that wasn’t my greatest fear, my greatest fear was that I was his number one most biggest enemy.
The Alberto’s and the Arrowhood’s hatred was far greater than any hatred, it ran through their blood but here I was, standing at the front of the boss, who would kill me without a single thought if he found out that I was an Arrowhood.
I ran away from a dangerous man only to be caught by a more dangerous and dark man.
I closed my eyes and tried calming my self down.
I ran away cos I wanted a better and simple life and i wasn’t going to let this man take away my newly found freedom.
“Madison Petrovert, My name is Madison Petrovert” I wasn’t going to give up now.
So I lied.
