Chapter 1796
Chapter 1796
Huub was absolutely terrified, as Frank's grin reminded him of Governor Quill's.
"Rise... Five-Peat Archaeus!"
Frank held out his hands as he pulsated the pure vigor inside him, projecting a fire that he usually used to refine pills.
Huub could immediately feel the flames with no name burning him from the inside out, and he was in so much pain that he could not even scream.
In just half a minute, he fainted and recovered over a dozen times!
"K-Kill me... Just kill me..."
Huub's tears gushed, covering his face miserably as he clenched around Frank's leg, pleading through sobs. "Just kill me... I'm begging you..."
Frank simply chuckled. "I won't make it quick, Mr. Droitner. Now, take your time enjoying your punishment for burning down my house and everything inside."
Huub could barely hear it, and he was at once despairing even as Frank continued. "And now comes the best part. It's for daring to hurt my friends... so you'd better hold on now."
"Argh!!!" Huub finally screamed.
The groups of people fighting heard it, and Paul Droitner's face fell-it was only then that he realized his grandson had suddenly gone missing. And the scream coming out from that alley was, unsurprisingly, his grandson's.
"Stop!"
He barked at his goons, and led them as they charged straight toward the quiet alley, immediately smelling the scent of charred flesh. "S-Save me... Grand... father..."
"What...?"
Paul was left stunned when he saw what was a blackened puddle of flesh.
And he was so familiar with that voice he would never mistake it... The blackened puddle of flesh was what remained of his dear grandson, Huub! "H-Huey...?"
"Kill me... I'm begging you, just kill me... Grandpa...."
Even as Paul trembled from head to toe, Huub's words almost left him suffering a breakdown.
His treasured grandson was actually asking him to kill him! He could not even begin to imagine the torment that Huub was going through!
"Don't worry," Paul growled. "I-I will avenge you..."Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.
"Heh... Hahaha..."
Hearing what Paul said, the black puddle breathed an eerie laugh that left everyone feeling a chill down their spines. "We can't... Grandpa... we made... a mistake... it's alDover..."
Even as the black puddle finished, someone bellowed behind Paul, "Freeze!"
"What?!"
Paul turned and suddenly found himself staring down ten black barrels, and he dropped limply to his knees.
Around him, Paul's goons had their hands on their heads as they dropped to a crouch too.
A young inspector then strode up,
flashing his badge as he barked, "Paul Droitner! Solid evidence has been found against Droitner Inc. for selling national and cultural artifacts. What do you have
sw novela
say?"
Paul was still caught in the anguish of seeing the state of his grandson, even bent on avenging him. "I want to see Leino Himmich. He's the police commissioner..."
"Leino Himmich?!" The young inspector snorted. "He's already been sent to Blackwater. You don't get to see him!"
