The Billionaire’s Creed

Chapter 21

MYKEL

I was losing control even if I tried hard to ignore that I was with my wife in a yellow two-piece suit. She was the epitome of a living goddess. And fuck me, she knew when to tease-when I was vulnerable and at her mercy.

She was attracted to me, and I felt she didn’t try hard to hide it. If we reached that part, I didn’t want her to regret it after. No matter how much I wanted to take her to bed, she was not ready for that. I would throw away those conditions she lay on the table, and I wasn’t sure she would take it lightly.

We got back to the mainland after dinner. Unfortunately, our time was limited, and she’d already mentioned her job. We had to fly back home early in the morning.

I went to bed. Adley was already sleeping. This time she was wearing a light pink skimpy satin sleepwear. And this tension, and I knew this would go for a long haul and would blow even in my sleep.

I woke up to her nudging me in the middle of the night.

“Mykel, wake up.”

I rubbed my eyes and squinted at the light. “What is it, Adley?”

“It’s raining.”

“Of course, it’s raining.” I groaned. “Are you scared?”

“No. I mean, it’s raining.” I didn’t exactly get what she meant. My mind was still asleep.

“We’re in Hawaii, baby. It’s not new. Get back to sleep.”

She was already sitting in bed. “I wanna see the rain.”

I hated when someone woke me up for nonsense reasons when I had something better to do in the morning unless the stock market crashed. But somehow, I got up.

I sat up, breathed out, and stared at her momentarily. Her eyes glittered with excitement, making my heart melt.

“Let’s go see the rain then. There might also be lightning.” My brain was still scrambled, but yeah, when you were married, things had to change, and you had to adjust a little if even rain would make your wife smile.

“Thanks.” She practically dragged me out of the room.

“Don’t be so excited. You can’t see anything in the night.”

We reached the patio, and Adley was jumping like a child. What was so special about the rain in Hawaii? I didn’t get it. I meant it rained a lot at home.

The breeze was even chilly, and I didn’t realize she could be freezing.

“Let me get you something to keep you warm,” I suggested.

“I don’t need it. I’m going out.” She grinned, wearing flip-flops on the floor.

“Adley, that is not a good idea. It’s freezing out there.” I scolded her, walking over to grab her in the arm. Only it was too late.

“Nah. I got this.”

Jesus Christ! She danced as she stepped on the footpaths toward the shore. With my jaw dropped, I just stood there and watched her in pure shock.

“What the fuck are you doing, Adley Creed? Get in the hell back here in this instant!” My anger soared. I regretted it immediately-I shouldn’t have gotten up from the bed.

“Something’s important missing in your life, Mykel!” She was soaking wet. The rain was pouring, and she was practically naked under her see-through sleepwear. The fire in my eyes made my skin ablaze with needs. What the fuck did I get myself into?

“What’s going on, boss?” It was Kye. I may have awakened him by my voice.

“It’s fine.” I picked up the umbrella from the corner and walked through the paths. I didn’t want him to see Adley’s literally naked body.

Adley was on the shore, watching the dark horizon.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing? You’re gonna get sick.” Even if the umbrella was too late for her, it seemed only rational.

She turned to me with those sated eyes. “No sensible evidence proves you will get sick if you bathe under the rain.”

“Well, thank you, Doctor Grey.” I held her arm. “Now, let’s go back to the house. You look like a lost puppy right now.”

She snatched the umbrella from me and said, “Don’t you have it on your bucket list like walking and yelling in the rain?”

I narrowed at her. “Who does that? How about we go paragliding tomorrow? How’s that sound?”

“You’re mean.” A small frown fell against her lips. And I instantly hated myself that I was one to put it there.

“And do you think waking up in the middle of the night coming over here in the pouring rain is a good idea? Is this some kind of joke? Look at you.” I pointed at her wet body. “People here are not like at home.”

“Exactly! If I go out in the pouring rain, they’d think I’m crazy. Here, nada!”

I shook my head, pissed off, yet guilt twisted in my gut instantly. Somehow, my anger vanished just like that. Something was really wrong with me that needed immediate psychological attention.NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.

She held my hand. “Come on, dance with me. It’s on my bucket list.” She then danced and spun around before she wrapped her arms around my neck.

Now, I was completely wet and turned on-I was burning from the inside. I could feel every inch of my wife’s body pressed against mine-the swell of her tits and hardening nipples.

“Are we done?” I calmed down. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into a tight hug. She had not realized how freezing it was right now, but soon she needed to get warm.

Maybe, she needed this. Who was I to deny if this simple thing made her happy? It may look stupid, but if this were on her bucket list, then we would do it.

“You’re mad.”

“I’m not, baby. I don’t want you getting colds or something.”

“Don’t you have a bucket list?” Again, the stupid bucket list. Who made this popular anyway?

When I looked down, she was smiling. Her question was sincere.

“What’s on my bucket list is this-” I leaned down and brushed my lips into hers, flooding her with the desire to kiss her again. She gasped at the first touch. Her grip tightened around my neck, clinging to me. As I slid my tongue along her lower lip, a needy sound skipped from me. I felt her smiling, and she didn’t even try to resist. She gave me the kiss that I desperately wanted.

I tightened my arms around her, borrowing the strength to ward off the fear of ending this kiss in the rain.

I realized that I was just waiting for the right person. Maybe I had a romance in my bones after all.

The sweep of my tongue turned deep and demanding. The pile of lust seared through me. Blood rushed south, my needs surging. The kiss became firm and insistent and urgent, giving and taking until she broke apart.

A groan skipped my throat, squeezing my eyes shut as I tried to control my hardening cock back to dormant. Then I opened my eyes to the most beautiful woman, dazed with desire.

“Did I ruin your fun?”

She pursed her lips and shook her head. “Nah. We both need that. Let’s head back to the house.” She walked away, leaving me alone, aroused and stunned. Before she reached the patio, she turned to me. “If you ever bring that up that I lured you to the rain to kiss you, I’m gonna knee that one in need of your attention.” She was pointing at my cock. So she felt it. Interesting.

I burst into laughter. “Noted, ma’am.”

Sax was also up, offering us towels.

“Nice move, boss,” Kye commented.

“Shut up,” Adley and I said in unison.

“Perfect couple.”

We flew back home, and none of us brought up what happened in the rain. So, what happened in Hawaii stayed in Hawaii. I got that memo. Before we got back to bed last night, there were those moments when I was dying to continue what we left off. But I was sure it would be worth the wait if things bloomed between us.

“Mykel, I wanna go to my apartment and stay there for a while.” We were in the car when she brought that up.

“How many days?”

“Two or three.”

“No.”

She snapped her head, throwing me an evil glare. “Aren’t you a little clingy right now?”

“Baby, you wanna make this believable? Then we should stick to the plan. I’m staying with you.” I brought that up just to remind her about our little charade.

She held her gaze for a moment. “You’re kidding.”

“No. I’ll stay wherever you are.”

“Fine.”

“Did your grandfather contact you?”

“Silent treatment.”

“I’m sure he knows it by now. Have you talked to your lawyers?”

“My plan is when I get home.”

“Good. I need to be there when you talk to them.”

Sax parked the car in front of her apartment building. Kye and Sax helped out with our suitcases.

We reached the apartment door. She fumbled with her keys when she asked, “Aren’t you going to get something from your penthouse?”

“Are you trying to trick me into not seeing what you’re about to throw away from your drawers?” I pressed my lips to hide my smile.

She pushed the door open. “Like what?”

Sax and Kye went ahead to put our things inside.

I shrugged. “Don’t know. Let’s go and find out.” My intention of coming to her apartment, honestly, I wanted to sleep in the same bed with Adley. I wanted her by my side. I wanted to wake up the first thing I saw was her beautiful face. As cliche as it sounded, that was the truth coming from a man with a fair share of women.

The pretty decent two-bedroom apartment she shared with Blaze was enough for the two of them with a small living, two baths, and a kitchenette, but it was spotless like things seemed untouched. Why would I even be surprised?”

“You guys, go home. Get some rest. I’ll call you if I need anything in the morning.”

Once they were gone, I brought Adley’s suitcase to her room. She was in the kitchen, maybe getting some water.

She surprised me. She liked pastel colors. Her upholstered queen-sized bed was finished with pillows, throws, and a fleece. On both sides were nightstands. At the side was a closet, and a door must be her bathroom. On the wall were framed minimalist line art decor.

I sat on the edge of the bed and pulled her top drawer open. I chuckled. Nothing out of the ordinary. Pens and notes, lip balm, birth control pills, a bottle of pain reliever, and hair ties. Typical Adley.

“Seriously?” The bottom drawer was filled with her lotion, mask, charger, and earbuds. I went to another drawer. “Nothing exciting, huh? You don’t keep condoms or lube, baby?”

I realized she’d been watching me, standing at her door with her arms over her chest, amused.

“What do you expect? Can’t wait to see yours?”

I grinned like crazy.

“I wonder where you keep your cuffs, gags, ties, what do you call that one?” She tapped a finger on her chin. “Um, that uh-plug.” She laughed out loud.

“I’m pleased you know your way in the bedroom.”

She rolled her eyes. “Not as expert as you. Hungry? Blaze won’t be home. He’s staying with Elise.”

“So we have the entire apartment to ourselves. I could use some. Do you like pizza?”

“Sure.”

“Where do you keep butt plug, baby?”
