Chapter 14: Overused
Chapter fourteen
Bonnie opened her eyes slowly, she felt ragged and overused. Her face felt drawn together and dried.
She tried to move from the bed and discovered how much it was so difficult for her to do.
Then the events of the previous night came back at her, dangerously.
She started sobbing afresh, cursing the life that she had.
The fact that she was a traitor’s daughter wasn’t enough. She had to go on heat at an inconvenient time.
But it was also Xavier’s fault. He could have gone easy on her. He could have trusted her father and made research before concluding. This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
Bonnie tried to move again and did so even though her legs and the space between her legs were screaming for help.
She managed to walk into the bathroom, her head reeling.
She felt used and dumped. And well, that was how she would always feel until a miracle would happen.
She washed herself amidst tears. Who knew Xavier was her mate?
But that was the dangerous thing. Now, she was scared that he might hate her for the rest of his life or he might abandon her whenever Gwen shows up.
The feeling of sharing him seemed more painful than the fuck he gave her.
She made warm water and soak herself so she would rid herself of the pains she was having between her legs.
She closed her eyes and rested her head on the edge of the bathtub.
When she opened her eyes again, she was on the bed and a blanket was over her body. The breakfast tray was beside her and well, it seemed like the room had been tidied up.
Surprised, she got up and took a toasted bread. She chewed and even that felt so difficult for her to do. A kind of known feeling overtook her at once.
Because of last night, Bonnie knew exactly what she was feeling. She heard that heat can last two to three days which was what was happening to her.
For a moment, she prayed Xavier doesn’t walk in. And she prayed she would walk out of the heat quickly.
She managed more of the toasted bread and drank the milk placed beside the dish on the tray.
When she turned her head to lay back on the bed, she saw Xavier at the door. She didn’t know how long he had been standing but the thought of it arose something hard in her.
She tried to avoid his eyes and laid back on the bed instead. Her heart raced within her and she thought he might hear.
With two long strides, Xavier was suddenly beside the bed.
Bonnie’s body shook with a slight tremor to it, her body vibrating with a need to get touched by him.
At that moment, she didn’t feel any hatred toward him. She only wanted him for herself. If only there was something she could do.
“You didn’t eat?” He questioned, his deep voice did nothing to suppress the hunger eating her deep. Instead, it made her want more.
“Are you angry about the whole thing?” His voice shrank to near a whisper and Bonnie had to look up to be sure he really asked the question.
She didn’t know his reason for the question but she wasn’t ready to reply to him.
Well, the truth was that she didn’t feel angry but she felt heartbroken.
Her first time should have been tender and gentle, but he has been rough and disregardful of her feelings.
So, she was only scared of the next time, not of him, but of him being rough.
He crawled into bed beside her, “Do you know you need all the energy you can get if you really want to pass this heat successfully?”
Bonnie wanted to tell him to get out but that seemed so difficult. She wondered what was happening to her but the only thing she wanted was the man before her.
“Why are you so quiet? You are always used to talking,” he said and she felt his left hand over her body, and then she realized she was naked.
When his hand touched her skin, something became trapped in her throat and she tried to push it down.
“Please,” she started, begging him instead for the want of his cock but it seemed like he wasn’t aware.
Nevertheless, he pulled the bedding apart and came on her.
Bonnie turned to look at him, her heavy breathing making it hard for her to do something, or perhaps it was the heat.
Everything seemed so crazy for her.
He touched her slowly, and gently and Bonnie marveled why that was so. For his hands were seducing her body to arc into his touch, each caress passionate.
The examination of her skin made her shudder with a moan.
“Who did you get mated to?” His thick voice hovered above her for a while.
Bonnie’s eyes went wider at the question. She swallowed harder and thought quickly if she should tell him the truth or not.
She looked away, “Yes,” she said, “He was killed.”
“Oh,” Xavier nodded briefly, somehow satisfied by her reply. And then Bonnie had to wonder why.
Then he pushed into her and Bonnie screamed out loud, much with the pain from the day earlier. Aside from that, it seemed like what she wanted at the moment.
When he started riding her, Bonnie held her hands over his body, holding him so close to herself.
For a reason unknown to her, she wanted Xavier all to herself.
If only that could happen.
If only she wouldn’t be killed for kidnapping his mate. If only Xavier wouldn’t hate her so much. If only Gwen would be nice enough to accept her as the second mate of her Alpha mate.
And it was very impossible. Bonnie needed no one to tell her what was what.
She was doomed! With a single mistake, she would be left with nothing.
No family, no mate, and no Bonnie!
