Chapter 83
Chapter 83
Coincidentally, Kevan had been with the representative for StreamWave Studios in the morning. When he heard about this, he immediately requested the approval of Zero’s request..
Together, Kevan and Dylan quickly finished their work before 7 pm so that they could wait for Larissa on the first floor of the company building.
So, in theory, Kevan would not have had anything else left to do.
“I need to find someone to edit the video, secure the top headlines, and get it all trending.” Kevan said.
It had not
online.
even been half an hour since Zero’s stream ended, and the video of her stream had made its rounds NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.
Various big social media accounts began posting articles with regard to the livestream.
“The Daughter–In–Law Has Responded Live! ‘The Mediators Room‘ Debunked!”
“Get “The Mediators Room‘ to Apologize!”
“Is The Mediators Room‘ Good at Truth Distortion?”
“Was This All a Setup? The Sins of The Mediators Room‘!”
“Who Is Consuming Netizens‘ Kindness?”
“Stop Donating! They Might Be Richer Than You!”
Those were simply a handful of the trending articles released.
The trending hashtags on Twitter were #ZerosStream, #MediatorsRoomDebunked, and #MILslanders DIL which racked up hundreds of thousands of clicks.
As Larissa’s speech was justifiable and coherent, not to mention having two witnesses to support her words. many people believed her.
Public opinion online began to change. Those who once hurled abuse at Larissa tweeted at Zero and asked her to pass on their apologies to Larissa.
As for the Twitter account of “The Mediators Room“, it was a different story. There were those who called the production crew shameless for doing what they did for the sake of views, and those who expressed disappointment. But the most comments they got were demands to apologize to Larissa Seymour.
Under such pressure, the production crew could only make an apology post that night. Apart from apologizing. they also made sure to absolve themselves of blame, stating that the show had no stance and that they would only broadcast what they had shot.
“We will seek out Ms. Levange as soon as possible to ascertain the accuracy of the things she said on the show. If there are any false claims, we will also hold Ms. Levange responsible.”
Seeing this twist, Larissa was not happy. She only felt as if she had shed an extremely heavy burden as well
as a terrible sense of exhaustion. Most people could not have imagined what she had gone through this week. If her mental fortitude had just been just a little weaker, she would have broken down a long time ago. There would have been no chance for her to make a comeback.
Zero was happier than she was, however. The smile on her face was so big that she could not hide it at all.
“If you ask me, those guys totally deserved what came for them!” She was scrolling through Twitter as she drank the beer bought by her assistant. “A shitty show like ‘The Mediators Room‘ should have been canceled a long time ago! It’s just complete horseshit on that show. How on earth can those middle–aged people keep watching it? I have no idea!”
Larissa sipped on some beer, and rejected yet another call from the editors of “The Mediators Room“.
“Yeah. Should’ve been canceled long ago,” she echoed Zero.
Her phone had been ringing without stopping. Apart from calls, there were messages and WhatsApp texts. Senders ranged from various people from the production crew of “The Mediators Room” and her own
colleagues.
Larissa ignored all of them. What she wanted most right now was peace and quiet.
