Revenge Against My Ex-husband

Chapter 220 Beaten Up On Sight

Chapter 220 Beaten Up On Sight

Edric nodded. Those b*tches were indeed so vicious that no words could be used to describe his anger

at the moment. He really wanted to skin Marie, Loraine and Lily all alive.

His mother was right! He had to take his revenge on them tenfold! Loraine had drugged Irene for three

years to make her infertile. They had even secretly performed a tubal ligation on her. How abhorrent

could one be! No matter what, he had to show her what he was made of.

Previously, he had just planned to take back all the assets Loraine had earned from the Myers family.

He just wanted her to suffer a little. However, now he realized he had been too generous. He had to let

her have a taste of her own medicine!

Jackson had already been released. At first, Edric was still hesitant. Now it seemed like he had been

worried for nothing. He had to make Tommy see the truth!

Deborah detested Rosa's guts. She immediately got Logan to go find out about what had happened to

Rosa. Deborah was prepared to take back what she had lost in tenfold over from Rosa. Since Logan

had already known where Rosa stayed, it was relatively easy for him to find out about her situation.

After her miscarriage, Rosa was weak. Due to her health, Tommy had moved into her house to take

care of her. When Logan went to investigate, he coincidentally saw Tommy at Rosa's home. When

Deborah heard that Tommy and Rosa were together, her heart dropped.

Deborah was very surprised that Rose had gotten together with Loraine's son, Tommy. She wondered if

the blackmail she had received had anything to do with him.

Rosa had known for so long that Deborah was the one behind Myra's death. Why would she only

threaten her now? Why not before?

After learning that Tommy and Rosa had not known each other that long, Deborah was certain that

Tommy definitely had something to do with the threats.

Right now, Deborah was worried that Loraine was related to the blackmailing. After all, Loraine knew so

much about her, so if she was plotting something against her, it would be no joke.

Deborah was a little anxious. If Loraine and Tommy were both in on the plan to threaten her, that meant

that not only did she have to deal with Tommy and Rosa, she had to take care of Loraine as well.

While Deborah was busy scheming, Jackson had already been assigned to work at the same nightclub

that Rosa worked at. At the club, someone had been arranged to let Jackson see a picture of Rosa.

Jackson was shocked to see a picture of his sister. After some questioning, he found out that his sister

was actually the procurer of the nightclub. Nevertheless, he was happy that he had found his sister's

whereabouts. He got her address and happily went off to visit her. However, the person who opened

the door was Tommy.

Naturally, Tommy had no idea who Jackson was. Ever since he had moved here with Rosa, he realized

how colorful her past had actually been. Every few days, some old goon would come knocking on the

door asking for Cecilia. They would always tease, "Cecilia has found such a young handsome man. No

wonder she doesn't give us anymore attention!"

Of course, Tommy was furious. His feelings for Cecilia were sincere, and he wasn't as flighty as all her

old customers. Due to that, he argued with Cecilia quite a bit.

When Jackson came knocking, Tommy's gut told him that he was just another man from Cecilia's past.

Tommy asked in a crude tone, "Why are you here?"

Since Jackson knew what profession his sister was in, when he saw how young Tommy was, his

thoughts naturally only led to one conclusion. So he asked back rudely, "Who are you?"

The atmosphere started getting tense. Tommy was used to having his way so he reached out and

shoved Jackson, "If you know what's best for you, you'd better get out of my sight. Or else I'll beat you

to a pulp!"

In the past, Jackson was the one who would threaten others. No one would dare to go against him.

Now, he was faced with this young kid who was acting so boldly and even threatening to hit him.

Jackson was fuming. He immediately grabbed Tommy by the collar and threw a heavy punch. The

punch was so strong that Tommy's nose started to bleed and he was immediately dazed.

It was embarrassing for Tommy to get beaten up by some man at his girlfriend's house. So, although

he was dazed, he refused to admit defeat. He cursed as he fought back.

Although Tommy was young, he had spent most of his days lazing around, unlike Jackson who was

experienced in combat. Tommy's fists were nothing compared to Jackson's and they made little to no

impact at all on him.

Seeing him curse, Jackson started getting even more riled up. He no longer cared about anything and

he swung a few more punches at Tommy until Tommy started wailing. He roared, "When I was out on

the streets, you were probably still drinking your mother's milk. Who do you think you are to take on

me? I'll beat you to death!"

Jackson hit him and cursed at the same time. Tommy got beaten up so badly that he had lost all his

energy to fight back. All the commotion by the door woke up Rosa who was sleeping. She put on her

slippers and rushed out. When she saw her brother punching Tommy, she quickly went forward to stop

him, "Jackson, stop beating him up!"

Seeing his sister come out, Jackson let Tommy go, "Who's this kid?"

"He's my boyfriend!" Rosa's heart ached at the sight of Tommy's bruised and swollen face. She hurried

forward to help him up. Then, she grumbled to Jackson, "Why did you hit him without knowing who he

was?"

Jackson was unhappy to see that his sister was not caring about him at all and was instead only caring Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

about who he presumed to be a mere pretty face. However, since they had not met in so long, he

suppressed his anger in his heart.

Seeing that Tommy was looking almost unrecognizable, Rosa treated his injuries. She totally forgot

about greeting her brother whom she had not seen in a long time.

By right, as his sister, she should be asking Jackson about how he was. However, it was not like

Jackson had expected at all. Rosa's only focus was on Tommy, and she had no heart to pay any mind

to her brother. Jackson was really feeling upset. So, he sat down for a few minutes, and eventually he

told her he would come back after a few days to see her. Then, he reluctantly left.

It was only after Jackson left that Tommy dared to ask Rosa, "That was your brother? How come I've

never heard you mention him before?"

"My brother was in jail. I didn't know he came out," Rosa explained.

"No wonder. I was wondering why he was so fierce."

Rosa smiled bitterly. If she had not stopped Jackson earlier, Tommy would be ten times worse now.

Just now when she saw Tommy's injuries, she was occupied with treating him so she had forgotten to

greet her brother. Seeing how angrily he left, he had to have a bad impression of Tommy. What should

she do?

Jackson angrily left Rosa's home and returned to the nightclub where he worked. Larry had come to

see him. Seeing his annoyed expression, Larry asked him what had happened.

Jackson treated Larry as one of his own and told him what just happened. Larry was very surprised,

"Rosa works at a nightclub? How did I not know?"

"She didn't use her full name. Plus, you don't go to the club she works at, so it's not weird for you not to

know," Jackson did not suspect Larry at all. He had nothing now, so Larry could not obtain anything

from him anyway. All he was thinking about was how mad he felt. He had treated his sister so well

since they were young, but she had chosen to abandon him over some pretty face. How depressing.

Larry naturally understood his sadness. He comforted him and told him that Rosa must be infatuated

by that pretty face. There were many scammers nowadays who would scam money off women. They

were typically undetectable by the average person. It was likely that the young man Rosa was dating

was someone like that too. Jackson knew he had to find a way to expose his true intentions.

The two of them discussed investigating Tommy in order to reveal his true intentions to Rosa. Larry had

a lot of connections, so naturally he took the task on.

Sure enough, Larry told some pieces of information about Tommy to Jackson. He told him that Tommy

was unemployed and was an expert scammer who was in it for the money. He also claimed that before

this, Tommy had scammed many other older women and that Rosa was his new target.

It was true that Tommy was unemployed. After hearing this, Jackson's temper rose. He immediately

went to Rosa to tell her about Tommy and persuaded her to leave him. However, Rosa was firm in her

decision and told him that Tommy was sincere towards her. Tommy always treated her so well and he

was so gentle to her. She would never be able to find another man like that in her life.

When Rosa heard that Tommy was useless and unemployed, she defended him and said that he was

not unemployed. It was just that he had to stay home to take care of her due to her miscarriage.

When Jackson heard that Rosa had a miscarriage because of Tommy, Jackson's temper rose even

more. However, he could not help it if his sister was so faithful to him. He felt very agitated, as his sister

was clearly blinded by love. Tommy had her wrapped around his finger.

He had no way to persuade his sister, so he pushed all the blame onto Tommy. He felt like Tommy had

seduced his sister and that was why she had become like this. He had to think of a way to deal with

Tommy and end Rosa's feelings for him.

While he was thinking about how to deal with Tommy, Larry told him about Loraine's whereabouts.

When he heard that Loraine was working as a nanny for the Myers family, his eyes lit up. The Myers

family was no ordinary family after all. Loraine must have accumulated quite a fortune from them. He

had to force that dreaded woman to hand over all her money and tell him where his son was. After

thinking of a plan, he went to wait outside the Myers home. He got prepared to run into Loraine.

Unexpectedly, the person he saw was Tommy. After being beaten up by Jackson, Tommy had not

dared to leave the house for a couple days. However, after tossing and turning in bed, he just could not

live it down. Jackson had called him a mere pretty face, and although he did not like it, Tommy had

nothing to refute.

After being with Cecilia for so long, he had not spent much money. Cecilia was the one who paid for

most of their expenses. When he thought about the fact that he was looked down upon because of his

financial status, he decided to come to see Loraine. He planned to beg Loraine for some money and to

help him look for a job.

When Loraine received her son's phone call, she hurried out. She brought him over to a quiet corner,

"What happened? Why do you look like this?"

"I got beaten up!" Tommy complained.

"By who?"

Tommy did not dare to admit that Cecilia's brother was the one who had beaten him up. After all, his

mother already did not wholly approve of his relationship with her. If he told her that Cecilia's brother

was the one behind his injuries, this matter would blow up. So he mumbled, "Gang fight."

"You useless bum!" Loraine poked her son's forehead and said, "I don't even know what to say

anymore."

Jackson, who was hiding in the corner, saw everything clearly. Loraine was poking his forehead like a

mother disciplining her son. However, to Jackson, he misconstrued the action as a lover's fight,

"Tommy is dating that b*tch Loraine too?!" Jackson was about to go ballistic. This man had slept with

his sister and his ex-wife! There was no way he was going to let Tommy go!
