Return of the Bad Boy Alpha Chapter 42
Magnus
My head was killing me as I leaned on Naomi while walking into the house. I had just been broken out of the prison I had been kept in with my friends and father-in-law. The room was spinning, but Naomi kept a tight grip on my hand, and I was able to make it into the study, where we all sat down. I had vaguely heard something about Naomi's family being witches.
"Magnus," My mother's voice calls out, and I look up to see her trotting towards me with Pops right behind her. She takes me into her arms and squeezes me tight. "Oh, my baby boy."
"Janice, let the boy breathe," Pops tries to pull my mother back, but she growls at him.
"Don't tell me not to hug my son, Darryl," Mom snarls at him. She kisses my cheeks and looks me over before finally releasing me.
Pops smiles at me, "I am thankful that you are home, Magnus." He glances at my sister, "And we will discuss what you did, young lady," He points at her.
Phoebe is sitting beside Brutus, who looks angry, but he is still holding onto her. "I went with Naomi to rescue my brother and the others," She points out. Brutus grumbles, "But you just left."
"I'm sorry, Bruty," Phoebe strokes his arms.
Naomi is looking at her parents while holding that old book in her arms. I wondered why she still had it and what connection it had with my unborn daughter. "Are we witches, Mom?" Naomi asks, and Maureen chuckles.
"No, sweetheart," Maureen replies and looks at Allen. "Many years ago, my great times three or four grandmother was the leader of a powerful coven of witches." "You just said we weren't witches," Elena interrupts her mother.
"I'm getting to that, Elena," Maureen narrows her eyes at Elena. "Anyways, Ophelia was her name, and she was mated to a werewolf. He was just a regular pack member," She explains. To access the complete chapters for free, visit Jo b n i b,c o m."Their first pup had a

Finally, my mother was the last Blythe wolf born, and her mother had her wolf suppressed so that she couldn't be found," Maureen continues.
"Grandma was a witch?" Elena asks. "Am I a witch? What about Arlo?"
Maureen raises her hands, "Calm down, Elena, and let me explain." She looks at Naomi, "I have a suspicion that Ruby may be a Blythe wolf," She states.
'No, she isn't, Kairo speaks up. It's jarring as I haven't heard his voice in days.
'Who isn't what?' I grumble.
'Ruby isn't a Blythe wolf,' Kairos repeats. 'But Leto is.NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.
'Leto?' I question.
"Magnus?" Pops interrupts my thoughts.
"Sorry, I was talking to Kairos," I look at Maureen. "He says Ruby isn't a Blythe wolf."
Naomi nods, "That's what she just told me. But Leto is," Naomi mentions.
"Who is Leto?" I ask.
Naomi takes my hand and smiles, "Our daughter's wolf."
"Oh dear," Maureen breathes out and looks at Pops. "Darryl, do you still have Florence's number?"
"Who is Florence?" Naomi asks.
"The witch who suppressed my mother's wolf. She used to live here, but I haven't seen her for years," Maureen responds. "Wouldn't she be dead by now?" Elena interjects. "I mean, grandma is hella old, and shouldn't the witch be really hella old?" The older adults in the room all laugh. "Elena, Florence is ancient," Maureen says to her.
"I don't know where Florence is, Maureen," Pops answers. He looks at Kerry.
"I can have Cedric find her. Do you have a last name for her?" Kerry asks.
"I don't have a last name for her," Pops laughs. "Florence was just Florence," He shrugs.
"Florence belongs to Silver Knight Coven," Mom adds.
"So," I speak up, and everyone looks at me. "Does that mean that our daughter will be in danger?" I clasp Naomi's hand.
"That's why we need to get a hold of Florence," Allen tells me. "She will repress Leto's powers. It will keep your daughter safe. Unfortunately, that means your daughter will never shift. But she will still be able to communicate with her wolf and find her mate." "I don't think I want to do that to my daughter," Naomi presses her hand on her belly and looks at me. "What do you think, Magnus?"
I open my mouth to say something but am interrupted by Maureen, "Naomi, you have to think about her safety. If she is found to be a Blythe wolf, she will be in grave danger."
Naomi swallows and sighs. "Okay, Mom."
Kerry rises from his seat, "I have to get back to the palace," He announces and looks at me. "You can take a few days off before returning to work, Magnus." He touches my shoulder.
"You aren't going to stay for dinner?" Mom asks.
"I'm afraid not, Janice. I thank you for your hospitality," Kerry looks at Max. "Thank you, Alpha."
We all stand up to bow, and Max shakes his hand. "The honor is mine, your majesty," Max nods his head.
Kerry shakes everyone else's hands and winks at me. "I'll speak with Cedric about finding this Florence."
"Do I have to go with you?" Brutus asks the king.
"You may want to call your commanding officer about that, Mr. Julian," Kerry chuckles.
Brutus presses his lips together, "Yes, your majesty."
Kerry leaves the room, and we all sit down again. Naomi leans against me, and I put my hand on her growing belly. I feel a couple of kicks and can't help but smile as I imagine my pups. 'What is the name of my son's wolf?' I ask Kairos.
'Eryx, Kairos replies. 'He is a strong alpha wolf.' "They are strong kickers," I whisper to Naomi.
"Tell me about it," She grumbles.
I kiss her temple, and she snuggles into me. My heart is full, having her back in my arms where she belongs.
"I think you guys should all go rest," Charlotte tells us. "Dinner will be ready in a few hours."
Everyone else rises from the couches.
"I need to go find Krista," Bryant mumbles. "Why wasn't she here to greet me?" He asks and scratches his head.
"I don't know, Bry," Max responds.
"She went to her sister's pack," Elena replies.
Bryant frowns, "I'll go call her," He sighs and walks out of the room.
"Do you want to go rest?" Naomi asks me with a smirk.
"Your old room is still set up for you, Mag," Max tells me.
"Thanks, Max." I smile at my brother.
"I think we should put that book back in the vault," Pops reaches to take it from Naomi, and she shakes her head.
"No, it's going to stay with me," She snarls.
"It will be safe there, Naomi," Pops argues.
"I said no," she hisses and walks out of the room.
I look at my father for a moment, "Sorry, Pops. I'll talk to her."
"Cedric did mention that the book had chosen her as its new master," Greyson adds.
I purse my lips and say my goodbyes before rushing after my mate. I get up to my old room, and Naomi sits on the bed with the book in her arms.
"I'm sorry I snapped at your father, but this book has to stay with me," She tells me in a shaky tone.
I sit beside her, "You aren't under a spell, are you?" I ask.
"No," Naomi shakes her head. She rises from the bed and sets the book on the table beside the bed. "I need to lie down," she mumbles and takes off her shirt.
I nod and take off the dirty shirt I have been wearing for who knows how long, "I am going to shower first." I tell her and wander into the bathroom. She follows me, and we take a long hot shower together. She moans as I run my hands over her body lingering on her belly. I kneel to kiss her soft skin and smile when I feel a kick against my lips.
"They are feisty pups," I chuckle.
"They are your children," Naomi laughs.
I kiss her soft lips, "That they are."
"I'm afraid for our daughter, Magnus," She leans against me. "I hate to repress her wolf, but-"
"Maybe there is another solution," I suggest. "Repression may not be the only solution."
She stares at me, "How would I find another solution?"
"You tell me, Archive Keeper," I wink.
Her face brightens, "You are so right."
We hold each other for a few minutes before stepping out of the shower. We dry each other off. Our lips are locked in passion as we stumble toward the bed. I lay her down, and before long, the bed creeks as I make hot love to the woman I love more than anything else.
