Remorse After Breaking Up

Chapter 431

Chapter 431

Everyone was so scared that their faces turned pale. All of them tried their best to run away.

However, it was too late. The ground crashed into the crowd with a loud bang.

Instantly, the floor shook violently. A few people were instantly crushed to pieces.

The rest of the crowd was terrified, and they ran away in fear.

Sebastian used his sword energy and slashed the remaining people into pieces apart from Julian. Although there were two divine grandmasters in the crowd, they were defenseless against him.

On the other hand, Julian was shocked. Soon after, he ran toward Sebastian vengefully.

After sneering coldly, Sebastian rushed toward him. Both men prepared to punch each other at the same time.

There was a loud boom as the two men's fists collided with one another.

Sebastian swayed slightly as Julian backed away in terror.

Each step Julian took backward left a deep footprint on the ground, and his fist was swollen and painful. He almost spat out blood.

Since he was frightened, he steadied himself and escaped.

However, Sebastian didn't chase after him. The most important thing he had to do then was to leave this place with Bruce. He would take his revenge on Julian in the future.

The prison was very secure, so the impact caused by the battle didn't affect it.

Once Bruce walked out of the prison, he sucked in a deep breath.

It was a complete destruction outside. There were numerous holes in the floor, and many corpses lay on the ground. He couldn't imagine how fierce the battle was earlier on.

"Did you do this, Sebastian?" Bruce asked uncertainly.

Sebastian nodded.

Bruce was shocked. He recognized a few corpses. They were the bodies of some divine grandmasters.

Previously, he heard Julian's voice, but the latter had disappeared. It seemed that he had run away. Sebastian was too powerful. Bruce wouldn't be able to defeat him even in his prime.

Not long after, Sebastian brought Bruce to Cassandra's mansion.

When Lana saw Bruce, she cried tears of joy.

Bruce wept happily too. He was relieved that Lana was safe.

"Thank you, Sebastian." Lana bowed to Sebastian.

He hurriedly helped her up. "Lana, you don't have to do this. I just did what I was supposed to do."

"Is Julian dead now, Sebastian?" Cassandra asked suddenly.

"No. I let him escape." Sebastian shook his head.

Upon hearing that, Cassandra frowned.

Sebastian replied, "Don't worry. I promise that I'll help you kill him."

Yet, Cassandra was very worried. "You rescued Mr. Bruce, which means that you're strong enough to defeat my grandfather now. However, you didn't kill him, so that means you're just a little bit stronger than him.

"Since he's a cautious person, he won't sit around and wait for you to kill him. If he collaborates with the Lynchs and the Yorks. It'll become very troublesome."

"I thought the Yorks and the Lennons were on neutral terms. Why would the Yorks intervene in this?" Sebastian asked.NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

After that, Cassandra answered, "Usually, they won't interfere in the Lennons' matters. But, if my grandfather gave them some benefits, things would become different."

Bruce nodded. "You're right, Ms. Lennon. Julian is extremely evil. He'll resort to underhanded means to achieve his goals. You can't let down your guard easily."

"I'll be careful," Sebastian said humbly.

The Lennons weren't an easy opponent to defeat. Though he won the battle, he didn't win it easily.

Besides, his spiritual energy was able to overcome Julian's poison-control techniques. If not for that, it would've been difficult to defeat Julian.

Like what Cassandra had predicted, after Julian realized how powerful Sebastian was, he wasn't willing to sit around and wait for his death. So, he changed his plans eventually and invited Edward and Bradley to his house.
