Chapter 210 Anger
Chapter 210 Anger
The wrap-up sessions went smoothly. After the hard work of Lily, the company's performance had risen recently. She planned to launch the company's new brand in a period of time.
"Today's meeting is over. Dismiss." Lily stood up and left with the documents. When she walked to the door of the office, she turned around and said to Hua Yue, "ask the two people in charge of the marketing department and the brand planning department to come to my office."
"Okay." Hua Yue nodded.
The two persons in charge came to the office soon after receiving the notice from the Hua Yue.
The manager of the marketing department had worked in the company for several years. He was an open and flexible middle-aged man. Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
When Lily just came back from abroad, everyone in the company didn't think highly of her. They looked down upon her when she was down, but this marketing manager didn't say a word.
The marketing department was a particularly important department in the company. Although this manager played an important role in the company, he was able to maintain a neutral position under the condition that the company was united. He was not a simple person.
The brand planning department was a newly established Department of Lily. The person in charge graduated from an overseas famous school and worked for a world famous brand. Lily was very confident in her ability.
The two people stood in front of her and said respectfully, "Ms. Wen, are you looking for us?"
Raising her head, Lily looked at them and said, "you all know that I want to build a high-level jewelry brand for our company, right? This plan is still under preparation."
The manager of the marketing department hesitated for a moment and said with concern, "but the senior executives of the board seem to be dissatisfied with this plan."
"I've already asked Mr. Yao for permission. This plan has been passed." Lily said simply, "I asked you to come here to discuss about how to start this brand."
The two of them sat down under the hint of Lily.
The proposal was still under preparation by Lily. Too many things had happened before, which made her unable to calm down and write it carefully.
Now she thought it would be more appropriate to hand over the brand plan to the brand planning department.
Lily had discussed with them for two hours, from the brand's name to the style, and finally the brand's name was confirmed to be Hibiscus.
Patting the manager's shoulder, Lily said to her expectantly, "then I'm looking forward to your brand plan."
The man smiled and said, "don't worry, Ms. Wen. I won't let you down."
She had been busy in the company for a whole day. At dusk, she leaned against the back of the chair and looked at the sunset in the sky. The orange light was a blazing flame, lighting up the whole sky.
After a while, she closed her eyes tiredly and rubbed her temples.
She didn't have a good rest last night, so she had a headache now.
Hua Yue knocked on the door and came in. Seeing that she didn't seem well, she asked worriedly, "Ms. Wen, do you need to go to the hospital?"
Lily opened her eyes and smiled at her. "Nothing. I just didn't have a good rest last night. What's wrong?"
"This is the cooperation letter from Mr. Ling's secretary." Hua Yue handed the document to her.
Lily didn't expect that Drew would be so quick to get the land. It seemed that she had to hurry up.
"And," the look on Hua Yue's face suddenly became ambiguous. "Mr. Ling let his secretary ask if you have time for dinner tonight."
"Are you kidding me?" Raising her eyebrows, Lily said helplessly, "I'll reply to Mr. Ling in person. You can leave now."
"Yes, Ms. Wen." With a smile, Hua Yue whispered to her, "have a good time."
"Go away!" Lily scolded with a smile.
Hua Yue stuck out her tongue naughtily and closed the door.
Lily turned on her phone and sent a message to Drew on We Chat, telling him that she was free tonight and asked him when and where.
Drew replied soon. He told her that he would pick her up downstairs, and she didn't refuse. After all, they were in a cooperative relationship now.
When it was time to get off work, Kevin suddenly called and said that he would have dinner together with her tonight and he would pick her up downstairs.
"I'm sorry. I have an appointment tonight. How about another day?" Lily replied.
Kevin asked unhappily, "who would you meet with?"
"A client. We have something to talk about."
"Cancel it." Kevin blurted out, with an irresistible domineering and tough tone.
Lily frowned and took a deep breath to suppress her anger. She said calmly, "I have an appointment with a client. This is work. Let's eat out together next time."
Kevin was unhappy and pursed his lips. After a while, he said, "call me when it's over. I'll pick you up."
"No..." Lily refused subconsciously, but before she could finish her words, he hung up the phone.
He was as domineering and unreasonable as ever.
Not long after, she received a message from Drew, telling her that he had arrived at her company.
Lily stood up and left the office with her handbag.
Drew's car was parked on the side of the road. His handsome and elegant figure attracted the attention of the female white-collar passing by, and their eyes were all glued to him, full of yearning.
This was a commercial area and it was time to get off work. There were a lot of people. A rich and handsome man like Drew soon became the focus of everyone's attention.
Drew kept looking at the gate of Yao Group and saw Lily coming out from the company from a distance.
Wearing a professional suit, she looked calm and composed, looking like a female elite in the workplace.
Her delicate features looked a little more heroic and charming, which was also very attractive.
Seeing him so ostentatious, Lily walked towards him helplessly and asked, "are you going to make it known to all?"
Drew opened the door for her gracefully, raised his eyebrows and said, "we are not carrying on a clandestine love affair. What are you afraid of?"
"If only you could change a word." Lily got in the car.
Drew smiled casually. He got into the car from the other side and started it.
Not far away, seeing that Lily got on Drew's car with a smile, Kevin's face suddenly darkened. He took out his mobile phone and dialed the number of Lily.
Seeing Kevin's call, Lily didn't want to answer it, but when she thought of what he said to her this morning, she still answered it.
"Where are you?" Kevin asked coldly.
Lily frowned and said, "I'm meeting my client..."
"Which client?" Kevin sneered, "is Drew your client?"
