Mr. Right, Spoil Me

Chapter 162 Emily’s Return

Chapter 162 Emily’s Return

Anne Talbot shook her head stubbornly, unwilling to compromise. “No, I must go with you. What if

Sarah has difficulty in moving? I can take care of her more conveniently than men.”

Her attitude was so firm.

However, Ernest’s eyes turned cold, and his refusal even zapped all of Anne’s firmness. “Never think

about it. I won’t agree.”

...

The street in the darkness was already lighted by the lamps, but Andrew Bask was still in his office.

His tall and straight figure stood at the window, with his hands casually in his pockets.

He looked down at the quiet street out of the window, and smiled faintly.

“Mr. Bask, I can make sure that those men are all Matthew Scott’s subordinates. They have been

finding the expert gynecologists in those famous hospitals, secretly.”

“Sure?”

“Yes, I will deal with those guys tonight, and I promise our plan will succeed.”

“Sandy, you finally satisfy me.”

Sandy Wilson was speechless on the phone.

Did all he had done before dissatisfy Mr. President?

Andrew frowned indifferently. “Remember to take actions secretly.”

“Yes, Mr. Bask, then I have to begin our plan.”

“Good.”

Just as the phone was hung up, some familiar voices appeared out of the office.

“Andrew, are you here? I’m gonna come in. Andrew?”

“Come in.”

With an emotionless answer, the woman pushed open the door, and then stepped in hurriedly in the

high-heeled shoes.

She looked anxious, and she was just Emily, who had decided to have a journey alone days ago.

Why did she come back now?

“Sorry, it’s all my fault. I shouldn’t have asked her to help me take the passport. It’s all my fault to let

Sarah suffer this. I’ve known all from the news!”

She said in a rush as she strode in. Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

The mincing woman sobbed with great sorrow, and kept blaming herself.

Andrew was even surprised about her return. He frowned, and a flash of doubt swept over his

bottomless eyes, but in an instant, it became indifference again.

“When did you come back?”

Andrew even ignored her self-accusation, and asked her calmly.

“I come here just after my plane arrived. Andrew, just blame me. I will admit my fault.”

The woman raised her head and the guilt had filled her eyes.

She bit her lips, and looked struggling.

Andrew looked deeply at her expressions. He tongue in his mouth swept over his cheek inside, and

then turned around, leaving his back facing her.

It seemed that what Emily had expected didn’t happen actually. She sobbed and said in a low voice.

“Andrew, sorry...”

The man frowned as he heard her continuous apologies.

He finally said, in a cold voice. “It had nothing to do with you, and I don’t want to hear your apology

anymore.” Emily wiped away the tears on her face, and she seemed to be disappointed. “It did have

something to do with me. I even couldn’t know I’ve made such great trouble, if Anne didn’t curse me on

the phone. But I was really in a hurry before, and I also didn’t want to bother you. Sarah disliked my

approach to you, so I had to keep a distance from you. I also didn’t expect this trouble...”

She said regretfully and pitifully.

Andrew stared at the street in the darkness out of the window, and turned a deaf ear to all she said.

There was a noisy street downstairs, but the office was quiet enough to let the pin dropping be heard

easily. Andrew suddenly realized that something he had got used to was not the same as it looked.

“You intentionally come back to say sorry to me, right?”

Emily kept sobbing, and shook her head. She murmured. “I have to say sorry. Anne also cursed me on

the phone. I know it’s my fault, so I will admit it, but I don’t think this matter is a coincidence. There

must be some conspiracies. I even can’t believe she has died.”

Andrew finally reacted as he heard her last word. “So, what do you think about this matter?”

All of a sudden, Emily’s expression turned mixed. She bit her lips and said in hesitation.

“Actually, I always keep hiding something from you. I will show it to you now.”

“What?”

“I didn’t take it here, since I was in such a hurry to find you. It’s a photo. You may think it’s important for

you.”

“Where is it?”

In the car, Andrew was driving the car, while Emily sat by him. She said. “I’m not deliberately hiding it.

The photo might be related to the matter this time. We have to find it in my home.”

Gunning the engine, Andrew stepped heavily on the gas, and the car sped to Emily’s home.

“I’ve changed the password. It’s 0304 before, and I changed it to 1128 before I went abroad, because

I’m afraid that my neighbors have watched me enter the password before. 1128 is just your birthday.”

The woman opened the door with a smile.

“Come in please. There are no shoes for you. Anyway, I have to clean up...”

“Only once.” Before she finished her speaking, the man already stepped in, and asked. “Where is the

photo?”

Emily secretly bit her lips, and then took the lead to her bedroom. “I’m gonna find it for you.”

The photo on the mobile phone before had been developed to a picture, in which a man tightly

embraced a woman, and they were kissing fiercely. The scene was vivid and alive in front of Andrew.

“Andrew, I have been keeping this photo long ago. I know the man on it is Matthew Scott. He’s kissing

Sarah, but I trust there must be some reasons. Sarah looked numb, and even she didn’t move a little,

so she might be forced to do that.”

“How do you know that she was forced?”

Andrew pinched the picture with his slender fingers, and asked Emily with an odd smile.

Seeing his odd smile full of satire, Emily didn’t dare to speak more. She blamed herself again. “I just

think this picture might be related to the matter. Andrew, I don’t mean anything else. You should trust

Sarah, since she is your lawful wife.”

“Is there more?”

Andrew asked.

“You mean, the photos?”

“Yes.”

“No, there is only one. I always wanted to tell you about this, but I was afraid that I would hurt the

feelings between you two. Since the matter forced me to do this, I have to show it to you.”

“You’re kind enough to tell me about this.”

“Andrew, I’m the one who keeps the most sincerity to hope you live a joyful life. However, marriage also

needs sincerity. I even don’t know if I did this wrong, but I know you’ve really paid your sincerity much,

so I don’t want you to be hurt.”
