I Died 8
Even though no one could see me–a mere fragment of my soul, a Lunar Wraith, I nodded my head, agreeing. “Isn’t it obvious, my dear mate? You and your good–for–nothing first love killed me!” NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
Tears of anger streamed down my face.

It was as if Dimitri sensed the Alpha’s discomfort, so he tried to lighten up but how could he effectively do that when just meters away, my body was lying on the table? A reminder to every Consul pack member of the crime that happened to their
Luna.
“Let’s not assume anything for now, Alpha. Earlier, we talked about the killing method. being similar to those used by the Dark Wood Pack members. Maybe we can start from there. There might be a chance that our rival pack is behind this. We need to secure. evidence.”
When Logan heard the Beta’s discourse, his eyes lit up. “You’re right. Maybe Dark Wood Pack is trying to get back to us by killing my na. But why the hell did she meet with them? Is she conniving something behind my back?”

It was ridiculous. I was killed, my body parts were cut, and the first conclusion he had.
assuming that I was doing something behind his back. Fuck. It was so frustrating to listen and watch how this investigation stupidly went in the most pathetic direction. I couldn’t believe that even after my death, I would experience this from him.
The good thing was that Dimitri was level–headed enough not to agree with what their Alpha was saying. He frowned and spoke, “Let’s not jump to conclusions yet. The Luna being involved with Dark Wood members is unlikely, Alpha. Maybe they kidnapped her? We will never know. All are just speculation.” He sighed and continued speaking, “Also, she was your mate. You should consider all possibilities before making judgments.”
When Logan heard how Dimitri was trying to correct him, his eyebrows furrowed, and everyone in the room, including me, knew he hated that the most. He sneered and shook his head. “With her, it’s not unreasonable to think the worst. You’ll know what I mean once we solve this case!”
The day became so long for all the Consul pack members that rampaged through everything just to get every single detail. Even the elders who were supposed to enjoy their authority joined the investigation because for them, killing the Luna was a huge crime to commit.
After Logan finished the last meeting he had that day, he went back to the pack house, and there he found Isabel waiting for him outside. He managed to give the she–wolf a faint smile despite his pale face as he approached her.
“Why did you come? Is there anything you need?” He asked.

However, Isabel only sighed and stepped even closer. They didn’t even care if some of the pack members saw them; they just went even closer, their noses almost touching. “There’s some emergency and I have to leave tonight. But I wanted to see you before I leave.”
A look of disappointment briefly crossed Logan’s face. How could he make such a face? He didn’t even look as much as disappointed and worried when he realized that I was dead! How much more would he slap right across my face that he never really truly

Isabel was just leaving, yet he was acting like it was the end of his world, yet I… I was dead. My body was severed. I became a vengeful and pained Lunar Wraith.
As I grieved the love that was never mine, the two of them walked inside the pack house together, talking about random things. Then suddenly, their conversation shifted when Isabel asked, “You’ve been really busy lately. Is there something you’re working on?”
Logan hesitated, then nodded. “Yeah, we’re investigating something.”
“Oh?” Isabel innocently looked at him. “Is it about the headless she–wolf corpse? Any progress?” She inquired.
At that very moment, Logan’s expression turned serious. He eyed Isabel with a cold demeanor, one that he never showed to her. But I was used to that, unlike me, Isabel seemed startled.
Logan frowned. “How do you know about that?”
Isabel started to panic, but she was trying to keep herself together, yet in the end, she only made everything awkward. “I–I was just walking around when I heard some Omega gossip about it…” She answered.
It was a bad move. Logan stopped in his tracks the second he heard her reasoning. “But this information is being suppressed by the Consul members of the pack. No one is allowed to say anything about it.”
Right then and then, Isabel’s footsteps halted.
