Chapter 448
S31 191. Capturing the Moment
“Uncle, have you ever heard of the Mobius Ribbon?” Louis asked as they were on their way to the next location.
Jeremy raised an eyebrow. “What’s that?”
“You haven’t heard it? The Mobius strip is a one-sided surface that
has no boundaries.”
Jeremy’s eyes opened wider. His forehead was filled with more wrinkles.
“Uncle must be confused, Louis. We were also confused the first time we read it,” Emily said lightly. Her face was already beaming again. While walking by Louis’ side, her tiny hand kept holding on Frank.
Jeremy blinked in a daze. He felt like a fool. “Try explaining further, Louis. Make me understand.” He patted the boy’s shoulder.
Louis took the strap of the backpack that was hanging under his arm. His footsteps involuntarily slowed down.
“Uncle, pay attention to this. Think of my backpack strap as a ribbon.”
Jeremy listened. He and the others slowed down in unison, keeping up with Louis’ speed.
“This is a straight ribbon, right? Now I twist it once, then I connect the
ends. This is the Mobius Ribbon.”
Instead of being amazed, Jeremy blinked. “What’s so special about that?”
Frank spontaneously burst out laughing. His heart tingled when he saw his older brother’s confused face.
“Uncle Jeremy isn’t a designer or a mathematician, Louis. He’s harder
to understand.”
“Do you understand?” Jeremy grabbed.
Frank nodded casually. “Of course. It has been applied for many things in daily life. The recycling symbol also uses that structure.”
Jeremy thought harder. After a moment of silence, although his expression still tended to be flat, his head nodded.
“I’m starting to understand. But why do we call it has only one side and no boundaries?”
Louis lowered his eyelids. “You must not understand yet,” he grumbled.
Then, Louis stopped walking and turned to face Jeremy. “Try to imagine that there is an ant walking here. At first he walks on the inside, then outside, then inside again and returns to the starting point. It will never stop, Uncle!”
Curious, Jeremy traced it with his finger. When he realized the strangeness, he gasped.
“Why is that? How magical!”
“Amazing, isn’t it, Uncle? The path never breaks. It is said that the Mobius Arch is also shaped like this. Because of that, it is the most famous rock in the Alabama Hills.”
Jeremy’s mouth rounded. Frank couldn’t help but laugh.
“That’s why you have to read a lot and see the outside world, Jeremy. Don’t just work, carry out your duties, and observe the people around you. You also need to broaden your horizons.”
Hearing the sarcasm, it was Jeremy’s turn to narrow his eyes. However, before he had time to reply, Louis clapped his hand.
“Okay, Uncle. No need to argue. We’d better keep walking because I

can’t wait to see Mobius Arch!”
Louis suddenly ran over. Emily stared wide-eyed at him.
“Daddy, it’s bad! Louis is naughty again. We can’t leave him alone. Let’s chase him quickly!”
Emily dragged Frank’s hand. Frank couldn’t help but speed up his
pace.
Behind them, Jeremy nodded and walked slowly. He just learned one more lesson.
“To be a good father, I have to look for a lot of unique information. Besides, I will also run around chasing my children more in the future. Why do children like running so much?”
Not wanting to be left behind, Jeremy increased his speed. There were still many things he had to observe about the relationship between father and children. He didn’t want his background from growing up in an orphanage to make him a rigid and unreliable father.
A few minutes later, the twins’ laughter had spread through the air. The two toddlers were already sitting on the inside of Mobius Arch. Their hands waved at Frank who was holding the phone.
“Mommy, Auntie, look at us! We’re like two ants on the Mobius strip.” Louis crawled, imitating how ants walked. When he reached the uphill curve, he turned around and almost hit Emily.
“Louis! Don’t do that. Your pants will tear!” Emily pursed her lips.
“It won’t tear, Emily. I’m crawling properly.”
“But your pants will get dirty!” Emily spanked Louis’ ass.
“Your pants are dirty too from sitting here.”
While laughing faintly, Frank changed the video mode to camera mode. “Kids, look at here for a moment. Daddy will take a picture!”

“Okay, Daddy!”
Louis sat beside Emily and put his arm around her. His other hand formed a check mark under his chin. Meanwhile, Emily was still loyal to the pose of tilting her head while holding her cheek.
“One, two, three.”
They smiled wider.
“Daddy, is the top of Mount Whitney visible?” Emily pointed back after Frank finished taking one picture.
Frank checked. After quirking an eyebrow, he lifted his phone again. Okay, one more time.”
The twins were back in style. Watching their cuteness, Jeremy
secretly smiled. He could understand how happy Frank was seeing those beautiful smiles.
“Frank, why don’t you go up there? I’ll take a picture of the three of you… Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
Frank widened his eyes at Jeremy’s offer. “Sure. Thank you, Big Brother.”
Jeremy snorted slightly. “You only call me Big Brother when you want me to do a favor.”
Smiling crookedly, Frank went to Louis and Emily. He sat between them. They did a lot of poses there. The hot sun could not dampen their enthusiasm.
“How did it go, Uncle?” the twins asked as they approached Jeremy. After looking at several pictures, Louis took the phone from Jeremy’s hand.
“Okay, now it’s the turn for you two.”
Jeremy stared wide eyed. “There’s still another photo session, apparently?”
Louis and Emily nodded in unison. “Yeah. It’s a beautiful place. Don’t waste it,” Emily said before pushing Jeremy towards Frank. “Hurry up,
Uncle.”
This time, not only Jeremy, but Frank also widened his eyes. “Do you want Jeremy to take a picture with me? Not me with each of you?”
“Yeah!” The twins nodded firmly.
“Daddy and Uncle are siblings, just like me and Emily. Of course you have to take pictures too.”
Frank and Jeremy glanced at each other. No one moved.
“Come on, Daddy, Uncle. Don’t be embarrassed. Daddy and Uncle rarely take photos together. But you are brothers!” Louis shrugged.
“Photos are important as keepsakes. When Daddy and Uncle are old, you can look at the photos while remembering these times,” Emily, added, tilting her head.
After a few blinks, Frank snorted in amusement. He didn’t expect the twins to think that far ahead.
“Okay, you’re right. We both have to take pictures often because we are brothers.”
A second later, Frank put his arm around Jeremy’s shoulder. “Come on, Big Brother.”
Jeremy put on a lazy look. However, his feet still moved to follow
where his younger brother was directing. The twins giggled at their father and uncle’s sweet interaction.
“Now it’s time to pose!” Emily gave them guidance.
Instead of being stylish, Frank and Jeremy sat straight, looking at the camera with limited smiles.
“Are you ready?” Louis frowned.
“Yes,” the two men answered in unison.
“In that stiff pose? It’s really not cool.” Louis shook his head while making an ugly face.
“If you don’t know what pose you want, just do this, Daddy!” Emily gave thumbs up.
Frank imitated Emily’s pose. Having no other option, Jeremy followed.
“Okay. Ready, set, go!”
“That’s the signal for a racer, Louis!” Emily scolded.
While laughing mischievously, Louis turned the phone over, showing, the picture he had just taken. “How is it?”
“Good. Mommy and Auntie will definitely love Daddy and Uncle even more. They’re both cool!”
In the van, Kara and Ava sneeze at the same time. They laughed when they realized the coincidence.
“Is there a lot of dust in here or is someone talking about us?” Kara said as she lowered the book into her lap.
While blowing her nose, Ava laughed faintly. “I think the twins are talking about us.”
“Yes, they are probably carrying out the mission we gave them.” Kara shrugged. Ava nodded in agreement. After a short silence, Kara asked again, “So, when do you want to ask Jeremy about that?”
