Got On His Love Pirate Ship

Chapter 10 Blood Roses

On payday evening, empty-handed, I returned home with a hint of anticipation. As expected, amidst my mother’s scolding, I was driven out.

My beloved sister sat on the sofa, cracking sunflower seeds, indifferent.

Walking on the street with an empty stomach, I realized the food in the fridge had been finished.

All the money I received from the men over the years, and not a penny in my pocket.

My mind was filled with my mother’s sharp words just now.

“Kelly just having such an excellent boyfriend and you quit your job at this time. You just don’t want us to have a good life! If you hadn’t killed your father, would our family be so difficult?”© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

“What’s the point of having such a beautiful body if you don’t use it to make money? Why wasn’t it you who died?”

Exhausted, I sat on the steps by the road, and a hand with a box of milk was extended to me.

With tears in my eyes, I looked up, and the man illuminated by the streetlight appeared like a god descending from the heavens, imposing and handsome.

It was him again, Jamie.

Without having time to ponder how he ended up here, I took the milk and poured it into my mouth.

That night, Jamie took me to a restaurant, ordered a table full of dishes, and watched me eat.

After dinner, he offered to take me back to my rented apartment. Without calling a cab, I said I wanted to walk back.

Along the riverbank, I walked ahead of him, silent all the way.

At the bottom of the apartment building, Jamie handed me a wad of cash, telling me I could call him anytime, no matter what happened.

Although I refused his money, I smiled at him for the first time.

In three separate encounters with this man, I found myself in such a disheveled state.

There was no decadent smell on him that the other men carried with them, and I felt that I didn’t repel him.
