The staff buzzed with excitement, whispering about Ella’s return to the mansion. “Oh, she’s such a sweetheart!” one of the head chefs exclaimed. “I still remember how she’d brighten up the whole mansion with just one smile.”

“That’s true!” another house help chimed in. “Her smile would light up a room!”

“I have a feeling she won’t leave the boss’s life, no matter what happens,” another staff member added. “I remember how fond the boss’s parents were of her. They’d even prepare meals themselves when they knew Miss Ella was coming over. They’d throw parties and go on picnics… those were wonderful years.” “Yes, indeed,” another staff member nodded. “They were heartbroken when Miss Ella and the boss broke up, but they always hoped those two would end up together. I wish they were alive to see this day – Miss Ella conceiving the boss’s child!”

The staff continued to discuss amongst themselves, marveling at the unexpected turn of events. “It’s so

“It’s as if fate has decided they should be together,” the head chef exclaimed. “But boss claims Miss Ella cheated on him. Do you think it’s true?”

“Nonsense!” another staff member replied. “Boss has always been an anxious man, quick to jump to conclusions. Have you seen his temper? He’s always throwing tantrums. I’m sure it’s just a

misunderstanding. Miss Ella is a sweetheart and has always loved boss. Now that she’s going to live here, I’m sure things will change.”

Meanwhile, in the conference area, Evan sat with his secretary, Sarah, who handed him a document. “Thank you, Sarah,” he said curtly. Sarah nodded and quickly exited the room, familiar with his cold and arrogant demeanor towards staff.

Evan handed her the document. “This is the contract. I originally intended to sign it with Bella, but now I’m signing it with you. It’s a two-year agreement with some minor changes. I never wanted Bella to live with me, but with you, I have to be cautious. So, you’ll have to live with me under the same roof for two years.

Ella rolled her eyes. “What nonsense! I’m not reading through this stupid contract.’ She pushed it away, but Evan sighed and encouraged her to reconsider.

“Ella, come on. You know you’re not in a position to handle this child alone. With my help, you can have a healthy delivery and I’ve included some clauses in the contract that will benefit you. Just read it once, please.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Confused, Ella began to read the clauses one by one.

“What? For 2 years, I’ll be the face of Trump Enterprises? I’ll be the brand ambassador?” Ella’s eyes widened in shock, knowing this was a massive opportunity. Trump Enterprises was one of the world’s most prominent companies, and being its brand ambassador would make her a millionaire overnight. “Yes, I’ll ensure you’re comfortable with the terms,” Evan said, his eyes gleaming with confidence. “Take your time, read the rest of the contract. But I know you won’t find a better offer anywhere else. You’re perfect for this contract.”

Ella looked up at Evan, her voice laced with hesitation. What if I say no, Evan? Are you trying to buy me? Are you trying to buy this child? You realize I’m the mother!”

Evan’s expression turned cold, his voice dripping with intensity. “If you say no to this contract, you’re making a huge mistake. You’ll be throwing away an opportunity of a lifetime. And let me be clear, I won’t be so generous next time. If you refuse, I’ll file a legal case against you and take custody of the child. The clauses we’ve added will ensure you fulfill your obligations.”

The room fell silent, and Ella’s eyes rolled dramatically as she read the contract. “Wow, how generous of you, she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “No physical contact with the father of the child?” she

muttered, her voice laced with disdain. “Do you think I want to be physical with you? In your dreams.” She rolls her eyes

She nodded her head in disapproval, reading the next clause. “No marriage or romantic relationships. during the contract with the father of the child or with any other man?” She scoffed “Please, like I’d ever want to date you again.”

Ella looked at Evan, confusion etched on her face. “How does it matter to you that I’m dating somebody else? I’m not your girlfriend anymore.” She shrugged her shoulders. “Get over yourself, Evan.” The girl let out a sigh.

“I do not want you to date anyone,” Evan said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Not until you live with me and my baby. It’s just a matter of 2 years, and after that, you’re a free bird and follow your raging hormones. Oh, I’m sure you’re just thrilled at the prospect of being under my roof and following my rules.”

Ella rolled her eyes so hard they almost got stuck that way. “Fine,” she muttered, her voice heavy with sarcasm. “Because living with you and being treated like a prisoner is literally my dream come true. I can’t wait to surrender my social life and any semblance of freedom for the next two years.” She continued reading the contract, her eyes scanning the page with a look of disbelief. “Let me see what other draconian rules you’ve added in here… Oh, I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that this contract happens to include everything you’ve always wanted me to do, but refused to do when we were actually together. Wow, I’m so grateful for this opportunity to be your personal prisoner…I mean, partner. And I’m sure our child will just love hearing about how their parents lived together in harmony, bound by a contract and a healthy dose of resentment.”
