KENZO BRENNON ENGAGEMENT TO ZARA GILBERT.

Soon getting married.

Shocking?

Yeah right.

Elina stared down at her laptop again, and rubbed her eyes, maybe she wasn’t seeing so well. He was engaged, to who?

She click her tongue.

Someone his match. Her face looks scary too. They deserve each other.

“But She’s so pretty and perfect.” She touched her lips and eyed herself. Her hair was messy, she definitely reeks, of drugs and heat, her eyes were a bit swollen, figures weren’t so good, covered up in her baggy pajamas pants. She held a toothbrush in her mouth.

Mtchweew!

He was getting married. Who would want to marry someone as cruel as he, a fucking beast. Well someone just get engaged to him. Zura or whatever.

“Pity you, sister.” She scoffed.

It’s has been a week now, and she’s been more than perfect. She feel less pain now, and the job just got started. She was getting her life back.

But first.

She definitely needs a hot bath.

She smells down at her cloth and made a disgust face. Rushing towards the bathroom door. And pushed it opened.

Feeling refreshed, she came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her chest. Opening her wardrobe, a perfect cloth for today outing. Seeing the clothes in the wardrobe, killed every single enthusiasm she had a while ago.

Her clothes, all dirty. And they were all her usual baggy, ill fitted dresses. She itched her head. This isn’t gonna be good.

She ransacked the wardrobe for any clean clothes, but there wasn’t any.

She’d to do something. But she doesn’t want to do anything.

How can she be so.. Argh!

Turning she step on a dress beside the wardrobe and bends over to pick it up. The dress she’d wore when she left the mansion. The dress.

It’s still smells, nice and new and super expensive.

Just perfect. She smiled and hugged it.

Her lifesaver.

She wore the dress. Which stops at her lower thigh. It was quite short. She hadn’t noticed when she wore it last. She was blinded by tears then. She twirled in front of the mirror.

It was pretty. She looked so different from her usual self being Elina Brooke with her heavy glasses, though she had her glasses on it wasn’t as big as the first she had. This was more expensive.

Everything speaks money.

Elina parked her hair in ponytail and smacked her lips together, her eyes fixed on the face mirror. She took the lip gloss by the corner and apply it on her lips again. She wasn’t ready attached to this stuffs but, damn it’s been weeks she’d been home alone. And now, she was already ready to see, Ray. Though they hadn’t talked since she came back, she was gonna pay him a visit, and see how he’s doing, she imagined the look he’s gonna have when he sees her.

She smiled. Dropping the lip gloss. And took her handbag. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

Putting on her flats.

She stare at the laptop with a snare, and shut it. Her life and their life has nothing to do with her ever again. She was never going back and that awful memories, she would try and forget about it, maybe take amnesia tea or something.

She was gonna start again.

Apologize to Carol and get back to work.

If it was that easy.

She walked out of the house and shut the door behind her. Taking a taxicab towards Ray’s apartment. She couldn’t just wait to see him. And she was feeling nervous all of a sudden, their last meeting didn’t go that well.

Just as the car moved, she was a familiar face, in a face cap coming out of the place, she came out from. He was staring at the taxi she entered. Who was that?

He took out his phone, making a call.

She watched him till, the taxicab drove away.

Who was he?

Where had she seen that face.

She definitely had seen him somewhere, but she just don’t know where that was.

“We’re here.” The driver announced.

“So soon?” She came down from the taxi, she’d been so lost in thought, that she forgot, Ray’s apartment wasn’t that far from hers. She exhaled and stood, watching the taxi driver drove off. Leaving her standing. She turns to the black gate. And opened it from the inside.

The nervousness she was feeling was back.

Keep calm, breathe. It’s Ray, your best friend.

“What if he doesn’t want to see me?”

“He would always want to see you.”

“That’s not encouraging enough.”

“Just go.”

She talked to herself, loud for anyone to hear.

She walked towards the door and try using the code she knew to open the door. The code he used was her name. She tried it and it worked. Smiling to herself.

She enters.

“Ray. I-I..” the word hanged on her throat. She had to gulped it down. With the sight she was.

What the hell is this? Her eyes were glistening with tears already.

“Ray?” She called to be sure it was him. His bare back was still against her on the couch. Legs were wrapped around his waist. Which was no doubt a female. They hadn’t noticed she came in, cause the moaning was quite deafening. Why does she feel so much hurt to see him, like this, she felt her heart burns. She should leave. She turned to the door.

“El…” she heard Ray’s voice.

She turned, he was standing in front of the couch, stark naked, she was supposed to feel so shy seeing him bare, but she didn’t, all she felt was disgust.

“Elina..” she heard the second voice, she looked behind Ray and saw her, Barbra.

“Barbra!” She the shock in her voice was evident, she tried covering her naked self, but she couldn’t find her clothes or anything to cover up.

“How long?”

They tears were already dripping. Her heart was bleeding right now. Her world crumpling before her eyes.

“It wasn’t even once.”

“It’s not what you think.?” She stare dagger at Ray.

“What should I think, you’re fucking fucked her!” She screamed in his face.

“I’m sorry, it was all a mistake. I would never had done that.”

“That’s doesn’t sounds like a mistake to me, you fucking enjoyed it. Asshole!. A week ago, how could it be a mistake.”

She turn to leave.

Ray held her hands.

“Don’t touch me!” She slaps his hands away.

“I-you can’t leave… Again.”

“Try stopping me.”

He held her back.

“I’m sorry. El. I’m truly am.”

She slap him, hard on the cheek. He looked shocked. She hit him again. Giving him a withering glare.

“I hate you.” She spat, and walked away, pulling off her glasses and wiped her tears.

She didn’t spare Barbra a glance. How could she, hurt her this much.

Bastards!

She ran out of the house. Crying her eyes out.

“Are you going, I’ll give…”

“Open the damn door!” She yelled. He opened the door and she got in and sat down, pulling off the glasses completely.

“Need a drink?”

“Yeah sure.”

Whatever he says. She just want to get out of here, she doesn’t care anymore, she squinted her eyes to stare at who took her, he wore sunglasses. She saw him, stretched out a hanky towards her.

“Use this”

“You voice sounds familiar.” She hiccups and took it from his hold. Wiping her face with it. She buried her head and the imagine of Ray and Barbra came back. She held her chest and cried.

This wasn’t what she was expecting. It was all her fault, she got the wrong idea. Maybe Ray never did liked her, else, he wouldn’t have slept with Barbra. And Barbra, she was the only friend she got.

How did this all happen?

She cried the more she thinks about it.

She doesn’t know if she was getting abducted, it would be better won’t it?

She feel so horrible.
