Chapter 3: You Scheme Against Me, I Sleep with Your Man
A look of disgust appeared on Colton's face. "You have disappointed me too much. I never expected you to stoop so low. I wanted you to come work at the company after graduation, but instead, you became greedy and dared to embezzle company funds. And now, even in the face of punishment, you still refuse to repent. How could someone like you be part of the Scully family?"
Vivienne sneered coldly in response. "Disappointment? That's nothing compared to what's coming next."
The police pushed Vivienne from behind and urged her forward. "Stop dawdling and move along."
Before leaving, Vivienne left a cryptic message for her father: "Remember what I said - your time is running out."Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.
Sebastian watched as Vivienne was taken away. She faced an uncertain future without any fear or hesitation. She seemed possessed by a reckless abandon. There must be a devil living inside this woman.
...
Vivienne had been caught! Red-handed! She was going to jail! The scandalous socialite from Los Angeles' elite circles - Vivienne Scully - was finally done for!
All the reporters Rachel called over were ecstatic with excitement.
Vivienne Scully, the second daughter of the Scully family in Los Angeles, was caught cheating with none other than her uncle-in-law, Sebastian! Who was Sebastian? There wasn't another man in all of Los Angeles who could match his looks or wealth.
If this news got out, it would become headline material within seconds. Scandals involving wealthy families were always guaranteed attention-grabbers.
But their excitement didn't last long before they were escorted away by Crowley family bodyguards.
This explosive news was sealed tight. When it eventually surfaced again, everyone had faces ashen like death masks because cameras, phones, and recording devices had all been smashed to pieces.
If you wanted to expose the scandalous rumors surrounding the Crowley family heir in Los Angeles, then you must be tired of living.
Sebastian put on the clothes his assistant brought him while Rachel cried and wailed before him. "Sebastian, I know that Vivienne seduced you. Her mother was a mistress, and she is one too, just like her slutty mother! She specializes in seducing other people's husbands. My brother should never have brought her back... he should have let her die outside."
"I treated her so well, but she... she repaid me with such lowly behavior. I was blind. I never thought she could be so despicable..."
Rachel was five years older than Vivienne, and they looked somewhat alike.
As Sebastian watched this woman curse Vivienne through gritted teeth, he found nothing about her pleasing to his eyes or senses. He simply felt disgusted by everything about her.
He used to think that at least she had some sense of taste and obedience which made it easier for him when she lied publicly, claiming herself as Sebastian's fiancée. He didn't bother correcting it since it saved him a lot of trouble. But now, seeing how stupid and foolish she really was, pretending to be smart only made him feel more annoyed.
Sebastian reached out and pinched Rachel's chin tightly. "You'd better not act clever in front of me again because compared to your little niece, you're far inferior."
Rachel was shocked: "Sebastian..."
"Get lost."
Although filled with resentment, Rachel dared not offend Sebastian. She had worked hard enough just to become his fiancée. Things were already difficult enough without letting Vivienne ruin everything.
